Inn Vienna Woods  was originally built as a music conservatory by Camilla Wicks, a famous and accomplished violinist. Camilla built the home to welcome her students to live in and study with her. They spent their summers studying with Camilla while on holiday from their university scholarships.  The property lent itself well to lodging and hospitality, and in 1996 Barry and Leah Moats opened their "Inn Vienna Woods",  so named in keeping with the musical heritage of the home and the Bavarian theme of the Village.
